David Finch’s art and the coloring in this issue is really spectacular. Bruce and Damian’s expressions are consistently so evocative as to nearly eradicate the need for any spoken words.

In his dream, Bruce is sailing in a huge paper boat, trying to fend off the villains who want to board it, when the boat is finally swallowed by a white wale (yes, a Moby Dick reference, obviously comparing Bruce to Captain Ahab). Note who saves him from drowning! Bruce has finally realised that Damian might become his redemption (and vice versa). 

Did you notice? At long last, Damian has sweet dreams, too!
